Nordic Mining secures long lead technology packages

The technology packages are for Engebø Rutile and Garnet

Nordic Mining ASA, referred to as "Nordic Mining" or the "Company," has signed agreements for long lead mechanical packages for the Engebø Rutile and Garnet Project (the "Engebø Project") through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Nordic Rutile AS.

The packages will be fabricated once the project financing for the Engebø Project is completed. The agreements were made with top global suppliers of sustainable solutions for the mineral industry. The Company is delighted to have secured these agreements.

The contracts for long lead packages for the process plant that has been completed ensures access to technical documentation needed for completion of the detailed engineering of the process plant at Engebø. We are pleased to observe that current estimates for delivery time and costs are in line with our expectations, says Project Director for the Engebø Project, Terje Gundersen.

Nordic Mining has begun concrete work on the initial buildings at the process plant as part of its long-term minerals industry development. The project is expected to commence production in the second half of 2024.
